LIke those... They mean more to me because of the brown color. I associate that with old, warm, cosy...
I think the pictures have more impact with the sepia. Nice mattes you used! umph.gif

beautiful shots-I'love the color of the sepia. I found several ways to turn pictures into sepia on photoshop how do you make your sepia?

    Thanks for the comments,

I convert the image to b n w, the go to image/variations, then play with the red and yellow till it looks right to me.

Do you mean that you convert to greyscale? Mike said that, too, I thought.

I am afraid to do that, for fear I won't be able to get the color back. I used to use channel mixer, like the big guys here. It was not working for me that well, so I now use hue/saturation, and, of course, I can go right to sepia from there.

Right now I am putting a tad of black, from selective color, in both blk and white and color, sepia, whatever. Sometimes more sometimes just a plus 3, or something. It seems to add something.

However I do really like your sepia. And the photos.

I like this one, but I'd like it better w/o the tilt to the left.

Perhaps a small clockwise rotation of this one to get the vertical elements really vertical.

The water tower is especially nice.
    If not now, when?

One is too yellow, the top one might be too red, just in the boat, didn't look carefully. I do like the one Rutt, et al, like. I think rather than just rotate, if I were you I would "pull out" the keystoning. the perspective thing, on the right side is where I really notice it.

Snappy is great at working with keystoning.
