Ch 67 rough ideas

Hi everyone. I've been struggling for ideas on this one, but then my sister suggested red cabbage & red onions! Great I thought I'll do that, only to find that someone has already done it! Back to the drawing board.
The following are really rough ideas, the quality of the pics themselves is very bad as I did them in about 5 miin s this morning, but was interested in people's comments on the ideas & how best to go about them.
Illustrator layers:
Or I could do Photoshop layers. How do I get the best picture of a monitor?
Again done this morning, my laminating machine
or
Some slighty better ones in terms of pattern & lighting are these 2, blinds in a conservatory:
Any suggestions welcome, even "Bin them"!! :rofl
