Mom and the kids

They saw me and scurried down the hole. This guy was brave as his sibling hid behind the grass.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I love the last one. Do owls nest under ground?

On the third one down I love the second baby's gaze. Its like the little two year old boy who thinks he's totally bad....trying to be a tough guy.

These are the cutest darned things. They look like they've grown quite a bit. When will they leave the "nest".

Thanks for the comments everyone. As for them nesting underground, burrowing owls do. I;m not sure if others do. As for leaving the nest, I'm not quite sure as to when they will leave. I have not seen any of them venture too far from the nest as of yet, after all they are right smack dab in the middle of a parking lot so they are careful. I hope to keep track of them as they progress and get older. I want to try and get some of there early attempts at flight. I hear it's pretty funny to see. Will post them as I get them. Once again thanks for the comments.
