Ed has already posted a great news that Tioga Pass (between Yosemite and Mono Lake) is finally open!
Here are a few shots just a few days before that (which made me drive 240 miles instead of just 80)...
01: Upper lake was still covered with snow and ice:
02: Lower lake was pretty much ice-free:
03: But, man, its water looked cold...
04: Moon over Tioga pass:
A few more is here: http://nik.smugmug.com/gallery/1581849
Enjoy (not) passing and (still) shooting!

This pass is brutal for RVs. I drove one this May and lord knows I don't want to drive one on this road. In all fairness, they have the warning signs about this. Good luck on yur next trip...
Cheers!
I don't know if its me or not... the top corners look like they get darker in some of the pictures.
Headed up there this weekend!
Thanks for looking!
No, it's not you - I was simply too tired and forgot to fix the vignetting.. My bad..

Photography isn't about the Zone System or any other Ansel Adams nonsense.
It's simply about seeing. You either see or you don't see, the rest is
academic.

Thanks!
I think with the amount of snow they had there just a week ago there still will be plenty at the time of your visit...

Thanks, bro! Next time you're here in SoCal let's plan on Sierras pre/post trip

Yes, ice (outside the beverages) is a rare commodity for us SoCal-dwelers. Not that I'm bitter - I'd rather drive five hours to get some in the middle of June than have it coming to my doorstep for 6 or so months every year :
