Bird Portraits

Here's a collection of bird portraits that I've recently taken. I've been trying to pay closer attention to isolating the bird from the background (except for the Tri-colored Heron...he was just too cute). Some of you have seen these on another forum so please don't feel compelled to comment but I am interested in hearing from those who haven't seen them. :):

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

All are fantastic portraits Kevin. You're right, the tri-colored Heron is a very beautiful bird.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Dick.

Thanks Dick! The juvenile tri-colors are very funny looking birds, down-right ugly for the first few weeks. They get better looking the older they get. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Hey BM (or should I just say Mike?)
I may have to plan another road trip down your way. I'm sure we could find something around there to shoot. :D
