From the shortest day to the longest

As I shiver on New Zealand's shortest day (today), I think back to New Zealand's longest day when I took this shot. I loved the calmness and color of the water - it almost looks tropical. I hope you enjoy it!

    Beautiful area and a nice shot!!! Makes me want to visit! Wish our oceans were that clear where you can see the bottom....no comparison! :D

    Thank you! That part of Wellington is called Scorching Bay and it is home to one of the best cafes in town - the Chocolate Fish (a reference to a popular chocolate/marshmallow treat that is shaped like a fish).

    Here's a view on a different day looking just to the right of the first shot I posted. This shows the location of the cafe (it's the building with the green roof). A nice spot for a latte!

    I would never have guessed that was NZ. It looks alot like places on the NSW coast, around Coffs Harbour and Byron Bay. Nice shots:D
