If most of you are like me, you've heard of the Cadillac Ranch, but....

....did you also know that Texas plays host to the Bug Farm as well?

Looks like an interesting place to visit Dixie. I like your comp on the first shot. Too bad that building was so close to them in the second. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Nick. I agree with you about the building in the second photo. It was even worse taken from the opposite side with more trash, a building and a sign, etc. Plus the sun wasn't coming from the right direction. However, you have to do with what you have. I just thought that it made a nice counterpoint to Cadillac Ranch which is what I'm sure was the "artist's" intent. ...and maybe even to include the junkiness around the area. :D

Thank you, Adam. Read my response to Nick for my feelings on the Bug Farm photo.

    Good photos
Yes I have heard of this but is the paint on the cars graffiti or part of the art? Either way looks cool

    Thanks

Fred, part of the "art" of both displays is the everchanging graffiti. This is the first time I ever visited the Bug Farm, but Cadlillac Ranch has never looked the same as the previous visit.
