Dont know about the situation with alcoholism in your places, but there's a lot of alc-fans here... This is a poster from our Soviet times...

As for me I dont drink alc. What about you, friends?


BTW. Must say that I didn't get any Andy's comments for a long-long-long time... This photo has (partly) his well-known theme (I can recognize only green peas). So maybe this time I'll get any words from his side :-)

    I love the old Socialist Realist posters. They were so hopeful, if a little unrealistic. My impression is that the USA is much more concerned with drugs, not alcohol. Just Say No was a popular phrase during the Reagan years, though I'm sure they would never admit to having stolen the idea from a Russian source :D. Here in the Mediterranean, we drink a lot of alcohol but somehow manage to survive. Maybe it's the garlic...
