my daughter with soft filter

Ok..this pic was taken natural light, manual...right when I first got how to use manual. I have a soft filter on the lens, but it was horribly underexposed. I played in ps today and this is what I got. I played with curves adjustment, levels, and usm.
Trying so hard to "get it", but happy with this outcome...like I said the original was very dark!
And cc is surely welcomed!

    Your photoshopping has greatly overexposed her left side.

    Ok...so tone that down a bit, the sooc one is really dark! Will try again!

    I kind of like it. The highlights give her an almost angelic feel. Maybe tone it down just a hair.
