What do you use?

I have a 20D. I have a friend that has some nice lights but cooked his camera as there older lights and didn' use a safe-sync. I want to get one for my camera so i don't cook my system. What brands do you use for your 20d? is the one abouve a safe one to use?

If you're going to use those older lights, that's what I'd use. I'm not sure if there's any other options. I do use a Wein optical slave & it's done it's job without trouble.

Thank you. It's only for when I work with this one photographer.. the lights are 15+ years old.
