The week before last found me up here....oddly enough, I have never been here and I live here! lol It is kind of a lil known gem amongst the locals and it is also relatively close to Denver. Those of you that come out here on vacation, I HIGHLY recommend visiting here, take 90 minutes on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park and divert in Georgetown and pick it up from there. Well worth it and free. Lack of people left me speechless and the views and wildlife were fantastic. Here is some more info on Guanella Pass : http://www.coloradodirectory.com/maps/guanella.html
All shot on my Minolta 5d using my 18-200 Minolta DT lens, singh-ray CPL. I just hope I don't post to many lol

These are beautiful! It's not just about the beauty of the place, but also the right weather and a good photographer. Well, unfortunately Guanella Pass is a bit out of the way for me, but I'll try to remember if and when I make it to Colorado. ;)

#1 and #4 are my favorites. Especially #1, very pristine.

Geez...I felt like I was breathing in the beauty of that place with the rich tones of your pictures - kind of like that feeling when something is rushing at you and you lose your breath...really nice job.

They are all excellent. I like #1 the best because when I look at it, Colorado isn’t the first place that springs to mind. I guess that shows the diversity of your State.

These are beautiful John. I like the first one the best also. Nice vista and the colors are rich. The only thing I would do is rotate counterclockwise to straighten it out a little.
