Hi Y'all,

Recently I posted about my newest piece of equipment http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=33378&highlight=beach+rolly

The Beach Rolly.

67633936-O.jpg

I have used it on numerous occasions since my initial post and I still love it. It has made lugging my gear around with me a much easier proposition.

Anyhow when I ordered the Beach Rolly I started exchanging e-mails with Ben Dubose of Practical Products of America (Beach Rolly’s distributor). I gave him my permission to use my shots of the Beach Rolly on his web site. Ben offered to give Dgrinners free shipping if any of them order a Beach Rolly. This comes to around a 10% saving on the total price.

Orders can be placed at

http://beachrollyusa.com

So if you are tired of lugging your gear around and can’t afford a sherpa I would recommend that you consider getting a Beach Rolly. When you place your order there’s a section that asks you how you heard about the Beach Rolly, just enter Dgrin and the shipping charges will be removed after you place your order. If you have any problems just PM me and I will get it resolved.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Where I'm at now, I need something more like a backpack...along with some new camera gear...better camera than what I got (especially after "My first lightning shots")...and a llama.

Don't laugh at that last one: there IS a llama farm about 20 miles from where I live now!

I would imagine that if you are carrying around a 500mm lens, and the tripod to mount it on, it would defenitley be easier for longer walks than a backpack. I tried out a 500mm, and man that thing weighs you down!!

5 lenses, etc. so far, water...........just things. monopod or tripod, would be really useful, but I just can't carry them far now.
And when my husband carries them he sounds like a one man band coming up on the birds.

g (plus water for dogs...........as I said, just things, but for the wild, not for bar hoping.)

Pick up a 3 wheel golf cart on Ebay or a garage sale. Remove some of the "golf" specific parts....add some wire shelving from Home Depot/Lowes/target/walmart . Attach a hanging bike rack arm at the bast to support the cooler..and Whalla...a photo lunar rover. eek7.gif
