lag time for geography info on map-this?

I'm on a roadtrip and uploaded some photos last night, and put in the geography info for them. When I hit my map-this button, they aren't showing up on my "world". Is there a lag time with the geography info being populated into my google feed for my mapped photos?

Second followup question: I wanted to check on the geography info for each photo - is there a way to show a single photo on the map? When I go to edit-geography under photo tools, the coordinates are there, but it doesn't show the map, so you have to trust that they are correct.

Something is really messed up
Take this gallery for example:

I added geography info for all three photos. When doing "map this" I get 3 instances of the same photo and only the loc for that one photo.

Ouch!

The problem is affecting my other galleries (such as my main page) as well. Duplicates on some photos - others not showing.

Hmm - works now. Temp database problem apparently.

great, mine are all showing too.


this does leave me wondering though, is there a way to tell if an individual photo has geography info? As in, I don't put geo info for all of them, and its not necessary to always see the map. Is there a way where some sort of indicator could be present?

maybe this is a smugmug suggestion?
