My newest lens & my oldest daughter...

:dunnoWhat happens when Mom gets a new lens? I subject my kids to becoming photographic gunea pigs. Luckily this my oldeat is rather co-operative.

So I got my Nikon 24-120 VR lens and it ROCKS.

The first pic is slightly OOF but I LOVE the picture, so I had to post it. It was a super windy day and she hates the hair blowing in her face but it's my favorite part.

This is the first time I've ever posted pics here, but with all things in my life I'm open to any and all comments and critiques... After what doesn't kill me will make me stronger... or possibly give me indigestion.

Thanks!
Kat

Thanks for the comments guys! Funny thing is.. Like most teenage girls, she doesn't know that she's pretty.

please tell her, having dated pretty girls-
    been engaged to pretty girls-
    married a pretty girl-
have two daughters that are pretty girls-

having seen thousands and thousands of pretty girls
in movies, on tv, in school, at work-

I have the experience and qualifications to say whether a girl is pretty or not-

I would not say to someone 'or not', and I would not be writing this to say 'or not'-

that all being said, your daughter is a very pretty girl-

    Nice pics.
you can salvage alot from the first with unsharpen mask in photoshop. Salvage is a bit of a strong word because the pics is not a disaster.
