Sat here, watching Jack try to recover (and doing a good job of it since his little blip last Friday), sorting though images and having time to reflect I felt it was time to share a little gem shot of Ginger and Emily.

Here's one from March of last year. It was raining cats and dogs outside her stall and as usual, it was just her, Emily (my wife) and me spending another few hours with her.

I couldn't put a title to it, as it really says it all as it is. We always had these very private moments with her, and when it was dark her body heat was like a huge invisible blanket that made you feel safe.

I miss this horse terribly.

Technicals:
Canon D60, 28-135IS, f4.5:1/60, ISO200, Flash w/Omnibounce thingy.
In RAW, nothing done except converted, a little contrast added, sharpened a wee bit and that's it. Saved for web.
