The Great Lenexa BBQ Battle baby!

The team I shot for was "Mad Wow Angry Beaver BBQ" team. These were all taken on June 24, 2006. Enjoy. :thumb

    Wow, by the looks of it, it was a great day! i have never seen that many people bbq'ing together. I would have to go for #2 too thumb.gif But i like all of them. So, it was a competition? how do i become a judge? mwink.gif

    Soon you will be able to show them in a bbq theme too :D

    185 teams! That's a lot of BBQ sauce!!! The aroma in the air must have been like heaven!! You have a really great series of shots here...nice wide variety to tell the story, with interesting angles. I have to agree that the #2 shot is great, and I also like the little boy eating the popsicle. thumb.gif

    saurora, you have no idea how great it smelled and tasted. many of the teams just set out the food and if you took the time to talk to them you could have whatever. it was great. friday night is when the teams really start getting ready for the judges the next day. it was a lot of fun!:D
