One of the staples of some comedy acts is the similarity that can be found between some people and the dogs they own.
While at a ACK Dog Show this week-end, I couldn't resist the temptation to photograph some people who IMHO bore a strong resemblence to thier dogs.
I had significant problems with light. Horrible flourencent of different temperatures (WB correction was a chore) and not enough of it. I was shooting at ISO 800 and F2.8. Couldn't use flash for fear of distracting a dog at just the wrong moment. Is there ever a good time to distract?
These are a Borzoi sight hounds - built for, among other things, running quite fast.

A wonderful looking Great Dane. This little guy is the only thing between this dog and the front door. But, the dog was so well behaved that when the boy commanded the dog to move, come, etc, the dog was only too happy to do so. Nice animal. Very nice little boy!

She was watching the obedience trials. In keeping with it's training/breeding, the dog was watching me.

This Border Terrier looks an awful lot like it's hander/owner, No?
