Ok...taking a leap here, but my take on lamina. Found on a quad ride through the bush, actually edible mushroom that grows off certain trees here.

    Thanks, I was thinking of layers of limestone rock, but when we came across these mushrooms both my husband and I knew this was my pic to post...plus he has been hunting these mushrooms forever!
