Hot, hot, hot at Summit Point
Last Sunday (6/18) I was at Summit Point in WV to see my brother (#30) race his motorcycle and get some pics of the other racers. It was hot and sunny all day. I had gone to the race back in April and was hoping to get some more practice with my panning shots. I had my bike with me (made getting around much easier) and was able to hit most of the corners. This is the entire gallery. Here are some of my favorites:
There was a crash right in front of me in Turn 3 - a lowside took out another racer and both went off into the gravel. Everyone was ok. My favorite shot from that sequence:
I also setup my new Pro account to make these available to the racers. I have a ways to go on customization, but it feels good to get my stuff out there. C&C more than welcome.

I need to hit the local roadcourse...SOON!
My favorite is this one:
The composition, the angles of the bikes, it tells the story. Great shot!

I hope to be there this weekend for the CCS event.
Good Shots man!!!
Camera - my little olympus point and shoot
Thanks - I'm sure the riders would disagree with you. Here's another I added this afternoon. Everytime he'd get off the throttle in the Chute (long downhill right bend leading into a tight left), he'd been blowin' flames out the exhaust. Rich, anyone?
