hello dgrin
i thought i'd introduce myself, im new to smugmug and dgrin. my name is Graham and I live in Augusta, GA. I'm a music major at Augusta State and shoot part time for the augusta state department of public relations. I picked up my first camera in febuary (Nikon D50) and i thought i'd share a couple of shots here
this was shot using the kit 50-200mm DS Lens that comes with the d50. it was cropped slightly but otherwise not messed with. I shot this in my mother's azalea garden in her front yard
Same situation here...cropped slightly but otherwise unedited. taken in Thomaston, GA at my mother's house. i should have stopped up a little maybe, one of the wings is a little out of focus.
if you wanna scope the rest of the pics from my visit, they can be found here: http://gpphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/1604204
good shooting all!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Your pics are really great and hope to enjoy more of your work soon.
Thanks for sharing.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
