Hey all we just returned from a trip to the San Diego Zoo. I am aware that all images fromt he zoo are copyrighted to them. I placed my watermark on them simply so that should anybody decide to use them then I can let the zoo know that it was not me! Anyway enjoy and please let me know what you think.

The first is of one of the pandas. As we were making our way to the far end of the enclosure I saw another photographer sitting with his tripod set up and his camera pointed into the trees. So I had to take a look, and there she was. This is one of the juveniles, not sure of her name. He told me that every once in awhile she would adjust her position. Sure enough a minute or so later she started moving around. I was in manual mode with an el cheapo 75-300 lens on my 20D so I am not really happy with it but what can you do :dunno

One more for now. This one is my wife's pride and joy. She made me carry the baby for awhile and she took the camera while we were in cat canyon. She spotted this Siberian Lynx in the grass. It was one of three in the enclosure at the time. She used the same lens as above also in manual mode.

I always enjoy shooting at the zoo. (The Brookfield Zoo is the closest to me, near Chicago.) They actually encourage shooting, and usually have a photo contest...

That's what I told the wife. She didn't find it amusing though. She says I have to start making some money with the camera before I can spend any more. I don't get it headscratch.gif
