Trouble with custom paper size is CS2

This is giving me fits.
MacOS 10.4.6, PowerMac G5, CS2 9.01, Epson R1800 with latest driver installed.
If I go to File->Page Setup, I can select from many pre-defined paper sizes, each of which specifies "roll paper" or "sheet feeder". None of the those sizes will work with Red River Paper scored cards, which are 7x10. If I define a custom size in that same Page Setup dialog, it defaults to roll paper, and I cannot figure out any way to change that.
When I subsequently try to print, the printer sees no roll, and cheerfully tells me it cannot print since it has no paper.
Epson support says that it is CS2 that is handling that custom paper size, not the printer driver.
I would be greatly appreciative if some kind soul here could enlighten me.
Regards,
Patrick

Apparently, there was a OSX10.4 CS2 9.0.1 problem. Now fixed.

Thanks, David.
I installed the update, but it has not fixed the problem.
I'm still stumped.
