My dh's cousin was baptized this past weekend and her parents asked if I would take some pics. So I snapped about 100. lol I had no external flash, have never shot in a church, so I told them they get what they pay for, since I was free, I make no guarantee's. Anyway, I shot with both my D70 and Rebel XT. I had my D70 shooting with a flash and my Rebel XT shooting in ISO1600. Here's a few different shots I took.

This is a picture of the alter. The roses are in memory of her godfather who tragically passed away about a month ago.

This is the pastor pouring the water. Stating the obvious, I know!

comment on the first one - is that a rose shadow or did you miss a rose when you were tracing them? either one, you should fix it, or clone it out. it just looks like a black rose right now, and that's not very good for the happy time of a baptism, even though the roses are in memory of someone...nevertheless, I don't think it should look like a black rose...

I like these photos! they're neat.

however, I would mention...I would only do the roses (and maybe the stems) in color. the vase and water...I don't know...they kinda look dirty and unpleasing when you look at it closely.
