Wales, UK Trip

Went for a trip to Wales, UK. Here is one of my most enjoyable photos taken from the Snowdonia area. It was a lovely day and took a 2hr stroll up part of the mountain. I had to wait around as the clouds above were moving fast, and although they were creating some good photos with the shadows they created, for this shot I wanted nice sunshine over most of the mountain with the blue sky and white clouds above. Here is what I came up with.
Comments and suggestions welcome.

Absolutely stunning! I really like that. Only thing I could really suggest if I was pushed would be to have moved slightly to the right to get the path leading into the picture and maybe have the camera angle slightly lower to get more of the foreground in.
    I didn't sell out, I bought in.

You got Snowdonia when it wasn't raining? Amazing!!!! :D It mostly rained whenever I went there for a holiday rolleyes1.gif. Did you climb Cader Idris too? There are some fantastic views from there.

I think its a great shot!

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Yes, your idea to move to the right and point the camera down just a little more to get the foreground in some more sounds good. I think I was so excited after having to wait for around for 30 minutes to get this shot. Next time I'm there I want to try some more perspectives. Thanks for your comments and stopping by:):

Yes, I was very happy that it was a nice warm sunny day when I was there. I was amazed as you can well tell that most other times the landscape would be covered in snow/frost/cloud.

I didn't climb Cader Idris - next time will make a go of it. Got any photos yourself from Cader Idris area?

Allow a whole day for the climb, its longer than it looks. I climbed it just 6 months after a major op. I didn't quite make it all the way to the top, I missed the sumit by only a feet hundred feet though so I was really pleased. Start very early in the morning to give yourself a better chance of reaching the top & obviously make sure you have proper warm weather gear etc, those clouds can come in really fast!

No I don't think I have photos from Cader itself, but I might have some from other areas of Snowdonia etc. I will have to check!
