I've fallen behind on posting pictures of my travels of late, so here is a random selection taken from the past month. Apologies to those on dial up!

Absolutely breathtaking. bowdown.gif Very hard to pick favourites but numbers 4, 7 and 11 are stunning.

I think I must just have wonky eyeballs, I've given up straightening my pictures as they all seem lopsided umph.gif:D

Lately, when I remember, I've been trying to keep things straight using the lines in the viewfinder though. I just don't remeber all that often :D

If you have PhotoShop, getting the image straight couldn't be easier. Using the measure tool, click on one spot on something that should either be horizontal or vertical and drag to another spot and release. Then, (going from memory here) Image -> Rotate -> Arbitrary amount. The extent of the rotation will be auto-filled by the angle between the line drawn above and either vertical or horizontal (as appropriate). Click OK and crop the image to get rid of the black stuff at the corners.

15524779-Ti.gif with all the WOW comments above. I love them all. My favorite (if you're interested) is #4. Put's me in mind of some sort of farie (sp?) land. Well done!

    And if you shoot RAW
If you have PhotoShop, getting the image straight couldn't be easier...!

You can do it in ACR even easier by using its straightening tool.
I found myeslf doing most (if not all) of my cropping and straightening in ACR..

The problem with that is having to crop the edges, I really need a wider angle lense as it is. On the rare occasion I do straighten the pictures I normally do it by duplicating the layer, straightening the duplicate and then masking the edges to get a seem-less merge without losing any of the photo.

By and large though I find it easier to assume that everyone else has wonky eyeballs too :)

I know exactly what you mean. Even when I take my time and use a tripod I think my images are even more crooked. My picks are the 2nd and 10th.

My favorites are 2 and 10. I would like to see #9 converted to black and white.
I'll have to add Scottland to my list of places to go.
