I had so much fun with my Elephant Seals shoot last week in California that I kind of forgot about my egret and heron shoot I had as well.

Let's just pretend that Harry doesn't post fantastic shore bird shots like this every day for a few minutes while we look at these. M',kay? :giggle

These are all very nice Joel. Excellent compositions, looks like the lighting was a bit harsh.

Thanks, Ric. I like the duck too. It was an unexpected bonus that day. I just happened to look down and saw him sitting there so pretty.

Thanks, Steve. I appreciate the kind comments. The lighting was bright mid-morning California sunshine. It was a bit of a challenge, especially because most of the action was in the shadows. Thank heavens for RAW. :D

Excellent shots Joel especially the great egret shot. You caught marvelous feather details in that shot. You really nailed those exposurez. clap.gif

That is a super shot Joel. I hope you found a space on your wall for it. I can even find one teeny nit to pick on . The exposure is perfect. Its sharp, has great detail and the comp is fine.
