There has been some question about front/rear curtain flash and motion blur. This was not what I wanted :cry - forgot to set my new D200 for rear curtain. Front is the default. With rear, the motion trails would be BEHIND the subject. I guess a motoin blur in front of the action should not be called a 'trail', but a 'lead'.:dunno

Cool shot, the blur almost looks like a drop shadow on a background. :):

I like the shot too....and the blur in front gives the impression to me that he is getting up that hill with more than muscle power.....that that "not thinking about it" energy has taken over. clap.gifclapclap.gif

Oops! He's sliding back downhill :D
I like it. Agree with retro - it looks more like a drop shadow than a blur.

    Speeeed....
iloveyou.gif It is so cool. Look like casting a shadow over a painted background.
Minor cropping (the house on the right side) and it will be better.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I did not get much response when I first submitted it, so I went with the following for the contest. At the other end of the 'action' spectrum. rolleyes1.gif
    Mistake?
