While I was in my local park last night taking pics for the challenge 2 kids stopped to talk to me, asked what I was doing etc. I explained a bit about it being an SLR camera & why I was taking the pic. I even let them look through the camera etc. Their mum was there as well & she seemed very interested too. Then I said did they want their photo taken. The little girl said no, which was a pity as she was very sweet, but her brother said yes so here's his pic. Here was very interested in the whole thing & stayed for ages.

Nice kid, good story and overall nice picture of the child. I wish something pulled me in more. It's a nice snapshot all the same and I've messed many of those up. Can't wait to see your stuff for the challenge.
You live in London do you? My, I'm planning to come next summer- I know very far in advanced excitment, but I've always wanted to go.
Maybe you can show me some nice places to shot while I'm there.

I think Ashley is right... the color is great.. he's a nice looking kid... I'd like to see more light in his eyes.. or more emotion in his face...

Txs for the comments. I agree its a snapshot. I'm still getting used to the new camera, trying different things so I will become more familiar with what I can do with it.

Yep I do, West London to be precise. I live close to Heathrow. Sure no problem, email me nearer the time & we can talk about meeting up etc. London has some great photographic opportunities, ranging from the historic, to the beautiful, to the countryfied! A River trip from Westminster pier down to Hampton Court gives you a whole range of opportunites & approaching Hampton Court from the river is just a fantastic shot. Obviously places like Tower Bridge & the Tower of London are great - I haven't been to The Tower for years. You'll have a great time :D

I know exactly how you feel... I'm still trying to get to where things are natural without having to think about how to do this or that with my camera.. Keep on taking pictures... we'll both get there...
