After doing our shoot for Hot Shots, we did some topless and then some nudes for my book project - she squeeked in under the deadline, as I have to have my finals to the publisher next week (which is why I'm home, this gorgeous weekend, finalizing my layout).

    Great shot! I love the fact that the bright lighting did not overpower the photo. Lighting that strong I would expected to have done so.

    I meter for the highlights and expose at about two-thirds below to allow it to blow out just a touch in the red channel. I set a single strobe with large softbox to fill the model about a third stop below the ambient and then bring the levels up in photoshop to match.

    Odd technique, I admit, but I like the result it gets me.
