Hello all,
I've begun a few posts recently, but I thought I should introduct myself. Been on smugmug for a while now, but haven't gotten around to the forums until recently. I'm particularly fond of nature photography, and especially macro. I also like the challenge of taking good shots of other evasive wildlife like my 2 and 4 yr old kids. I use a Nikon D70 and a couple of Tamron lenses (70-300 1:2 macro and 200-500).
Here's a couple of recent shots, which were all taken last weekend at the Huntington Library Gardens in Pasadena, CA.
I look foward to a lot of productive discussions ...
A skipper ...
And a couple of dragonflies.
It was a great morning for shooting, one of those proverbial bright overcast days ...

Like you I am new here too. That is an intersting angle on that first oicture. I see those little fellows in the yard but I don't think I ever looked one in the eye like that.
I'm looking forward to seeing more.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
