this didnt quite come out as i wanted. i think i am just going to go back to a spot where i did a blur shot a couple months ago and reshoot for the contest. but i guess its something

would like the subjects to be not so close to the edge of the frame
and the word "blur" doesnt cross my mind but i can just imagine a shot of her tip-toeing across for a long exposure (maybe 2-3 secs long) where it'll look like she's floating.

Beautiful! Perhaps a stronger flash light, so that we see more of her along the path, particularly her face, arms, etc. Especially if you can get the light coming from the left side so that it doesn't shine onto the parts of the background that are illuminated. (unless that's how you got them lit up in this shot... I assume the big black background area to the right is just open space, nothing that would reflect the flashlight....)

The blur could be more pronounced for the contest, but I really like the image overall!

yeah i also feel the concept is there but the execution this first go at it needs a bit of honing.
im going to reshoot a blur shot i did a few months ago for the contest.
hopefully i can try redoing this concept in the next few weeks just for fun.
