This is one of two of my first shots with my Lightphere. Four all together, but only two taken with the LS.
The first one was with the LS with its dome aimed straight at it... it was way too soft - too bright.
The second one was with direct flash... it was way too bright - like a nuclear explosion went off behind me.
The third one was with no flash... it was way too dark - almost couldn't see it.
And this one with the LS aimed straight up... it's the best one.
Yeah, I know. I'm still not getting great shots like you all are.:rolleyes

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
I think a distance of about 1 yard, SB600 on 45 degrees @ -0.66EV will work out better. (Check your histogram) Finally to can crop the rose into to proper composition.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm off tomorrow and Saturday.
I'm off every Saturday, and I work probably 7 to 9 Fridays a year.
If it doesn't rain or isn't cloudy out nor hot,
I'll hunt some things to take pictures of again.:):
