People copying original photos

Today on my stat counter I had 487 originals looks at one photo, what is up with that? I am a newbie, but here is the photo: klasjm.smugmug.com then go to my Best Wisconsin Shots, then second photo, it is flowers, grinding stone, and a barn.

    Have you linked your photo in a forum anywhere? Did you post it on Advrider? Have you publicized it in any way? You can also go to gallery tools>customize gallery and turn Originals OFF, that helps thumb.gif

    Hi Andy, that was a quick response. I do not post any photos on any forums, but the gallery is on the ADVRiders Community. I also had http://klasjm.smugmug.com/gallery/1543147/4 original lead picture on the fourth page download 347 time, but it was only viewed 9 times. The picture is my GS1150 and dog posing in front of Harley Davidson.

    I checked my stat counter this morning, and I had zero downloads on that photo.

    I just turned sharing and original off on my gallery. Do you think someone is stealing for commercial use? and why 347 times when once would be enough.

    Turning off the Originals was a smart move.
