You gonna use that for your FOID card? :D

Where's the smile, we saw your brother smile a while back?

Definitely a tough and rugged look with those deep shadows and beard. I hope that's what you were goin' for.

    Best,

I really like the look of this picture.... not sure if it shows your personality or not... but it's got a really interesting feel....

Looks like one of those serious personality shots. Good job on the conversion it makes you even meaner looking I think, but I always enjoy lines on the face and the facial hair and such.
It's a character shot... I hope you smile some too!
One thing I don't really like is seeing the bottom of the camera, I think it takes away, even though it's blurred. See if it looks any better cropped closer.
    Great job.

I think this is really good. Smiling (for a photo) is highly overrated. If it's not what you feel, then don't smile. It will make a much better picture I think.

Very nice work. Highly expressive. thumb.gif I suppose you wouldn't have posted it if you weren't pleased yourself.

PS: I don't think a Dali mustache would work here. rolleyes1.gif

I'm pleased with my technique, not too pleased with the face-

I don't know; maybe the mustache would help-

Superb shot. Maybe it's just my newbie knowledge but I find this shot really intense. The colors, the pose, the light. Aboslutely impressive. At least to me. :):
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!

    Hi George,
thanks for the link. I'm still very new to this whole photo world and the B/W conversion tutorial is very interesting. I finally got my hands on a genuine copy of Photoshop Elements (my sister got it with her brand new laptop) and I'm gonna test it out very soon. Thanks again.
