Private message the easy way

I want always to thank the person who comments my photos.
To do so, I have to search for his/her profile and there, click on the Private Message and this is very time consuming.
I'm sure there is some easy way to do so ...
Can you tell me how, please ?
Thank you. :thumb

Example: Rutt comment my photo

At the right it says: rating * action: delete
If I click on his name it opens Rutt's page.
I just want to write a private message thanking him for the comment, the best and simple way.
Did I made myself clear ?
Hope so. Thank you
...I'm moving this thread over there, as I don't have an answer for you myself and have actually run into the same problem.
the only issue here is that not necessarily all smugmug users are dgrin members. when you click on Rutt (or any commenter) from your comments, you are sent to the their smugmug site. I don't know what else could be done to make it easier to reply.
maybe someone else has some ideas?
There is no way to private message. or direct email someone who left you a a comment on your smugmug. People are not required to leave you a link either. Some people leave an emailaddress as a link, which allows for direct emailing.
I'll move it over to smugmug support. EDIT, already taken care of by the good Dr.

I was wrong posting at DGrin Support.
Sorry. :
I am sorry not to be able to have a link to the private message to thank without loosing too much time ...
Thank you.
The problem being, there is no real easy way to get in contact with that person. Since dgrin is a pseudo home for smugmuggers, it is the obvious place to track them down. But sometimes, it's difficult since there is no direct correlation between smugmug and dgrin accounts.

If a commenter is a SmugMugger, and they are logged in, you'll have a hyperlink back to them.
If a commenter is NOT a SmugMugger, they have a chance to input their OWN website and if they do, you can follow that link.
Folks may also post anonymously, if they wish.
I hope this helps.

Hi Andy.
How do you do ?
If a commenter is a SmugMuger and is logged in I have a hyperlink to him. OK. I understand that.
In this case I will not be able - without too much work - to send him a private message thanking the comment.
To do so, I have to go - yes I am a lurk in computers - to DigitalGrin, find the person in the Shooters section and then I am able to send a private message.
This is time consuming and annoying but I will survive.
Obrigado.
Sorry to insist.:bash
I received a comment to a photo and I want to thank that fact.
This is the photo and the comment:

Now, I want to thank Martin Wheeler, MrW Photography.
What can I do but to go and have a look at the Shooters in DigitalGrin ?
I have done so and I did not find it.
OK OK it's there I know.
The e-mail is at MrW Photography's. And if t wasn't there ?
But, wouldn' t it be easier to have a link somehow to the subscriber so we could drop him a line ?
Nice and smoothly as the link to his page ?
Yes, I am a lurk at computers... Everybody knows that here.
But the way things are don't seem very easy and are time consuming.
How would you do it yourself ?
Send a message to the person who has commented a photo of yours assuming his mail is not at the page !
Without loosing 10 minutes looking for the person...
Teach me please.
Thank you.
Uhm, Antonio, why not click on the link, which leads you here:
http://mrw.smugmug.com/
And send him a nice email?
We've heard your request, thanks for making it.
