How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Outstanding, Harry.

I love the lighting and transluscency of the wings. Fantastic detail. I know first-hand how hard it is to nail those close-in flight shots.

I bow to your expertise. bowdown.gif

Thanks Jeff. It was the end of the day and the light was sweet. He was nicely backlit and I got a good exposure with my flash. I caught him just was he was braking for his landing.

Thanks Joel. The lighting was just beautiful when I took these shots. Having that kind of lighting makes everything so much easier.

BIFs are easy once you practice them a few thousand times. A lot of my "success" has comes from watching birds in flights for a long time. Some times I'm able to anticipate what they are going to do and what their flight path will be.
