Can I classify these under 'Nature landscape'?

Im trying to get my portfolio ready for TAFE and I have to have a nature landscape, it says: 5) Nature Landscape eg, hills, trees, rivers, rocks etc or a combination of some and all.

Im trying to take some more exciting ones with my new (film) camera but incase I cant master it in time do you think these older (digital) ones I had already taken could be used instead?

    Like the tree shot...
Why did you go back to film if I may ask? Were you not satisfied with your digital?

I only had/have access to a digital camera ( a fairly average one at that) as I volunteer my time with a university magazine taking pics but my first purchase of a camera (which was only a week or so ago) was a film one as the course im applying for requires we must have a film camera....so I better get accepted! I plan to save for the next couple of years as it will take me that long to save on a student budget to buy a digital eventually...as all I seem to see everywhere is digital now!

I found it easier to take pics on the digital in that obviously I could see my results right away and less expensive as far as film purchase and processing but Im hoping the probs are just that Im learning how to use a new instrument.
Time is of the essence at the moment and I want my folio to be perfect! Stress factor! I dont know how much leeway I have either as far as I have some new shots I took that are average as they are but if I could chop them up and kind of 'strip' them so theres strips of photo if you know what I mean I think could be quite interesting....is that against photographic 'law' for portfolios being submitted for tertiary institutions??ne_nau.gif

Sorry to hear that they want you to have a film camera. Maybe darkroom will be involved, because you only really learn photography if you have knowledge of basic darkroom procedures.
I think it would be ideal for you if you can put your hands on a small digital, so you can at least take your test shots without spending money for processing and such... Especially if you are on a student budget.
I have no clue in how to use a portfolio... I think you should ask Andy.
I do like the tree for your portfolio. I don't know if you get rules to get by for it...
Also, if you would like to send me your email, we can keep this conversation off list. (If you want that)
