    this is a great photo!
wonderful skin tones and her eyes are so wonderfully in focus. I kinda like the crop on this one, adds to the interest of the photo. I say the main point is her eyes - great photo! thanks for sharing!

    Priviet!
I like it very much. Some critique and comments:
    I.
    1. Desaturate a bit
    2. Play with eyes:
Select eyes - make a copy layer of them
    Choose blending Soft light mode.
Using white brush make changes you need to eyes.
    Play with Opacity...
Hope you'll get just another version.

II. Use Highlight shadows (play) - then make b&w.

Pls Show us results if they will be interesting to you!
    Spaibo,
    Yuri

I tried to follow your tips, but I have a couple questions. How would you use the white brush on the eyes? To what effect ? Do you use the shadow/higlight command before converting to black and white ? I don't think I should turn it to black and white, it kind of looses the interest point of the eyes matching the background so well.

I think what Yuri means about the white brush is useing a mask to select the eyes. For info on masks check out [thread=29443]this reading group[/thread].

    Sorry, I'll repeat :
When you had selected eyes and made a new layer of them - choose the next blending mode: 'Soft light'.
Using brush (with white color) in this layer make changes you need to eyes.

Oh... I think I understood it now, is this it? the left eye was masked, the right one is the same as the one above. ( by the way, sorry I took so long to reply, I was on holiday )
