I have been looking for postcard paper , and have not had much luck.

I usually use Ilford Gallerie paper for my prints. I have heard that they have a post card paper, but I cant find out the name or where to buy it.

The web site Ilford has doesnt show any papers for post card.
I am using an Epson printer RX620.

If anyone using an Epson printer and post card paper has any ideas or info, would be greatly appreciated.

:D
Thankyou

Pamela

    Just use the 4 X 6 Gallerie paper and you'll be fine..........:D

I also suggest you do all of your onon-picture printing first...........

I bought the Canon Selphy recently.... just for printing 4x6... the sets of paper/ink come with post card paper... and apparently it puts something like a plastic seal over the pix so it is waterproof... making it okay for mailing etc... I like the prints I've been getting... but they are just for me so I don't know if that will help you...

Second the Selphy. Great little printer. Prints are equal, or maybe even better than drugstore prints. 4x6 have postcard layout on the back, and as the previous poster said, are sealed (waterproof and smudgeproof), and seem stiff enough to survive mailing.

I bought a Selphy 400 printer for $30, and 108 sheets of 4x6, plus ink, for $29. Heck of a bargin, so I print for about 30 cents each. More than Walmart, but my color is right, and it is far more convenient. Recommended over getting postcard paper for your existing larger format photo printer.

    Art:

The problem with Gallerie Paper is, it smears on the back if you try to print on it. Writing with pen is fine though.

Maybe someone has tried this with a HP printer. I still have a Hp that I could use for printing on the back.

    Deeya:
Thankyou , that maybe a choice I have to go with, if I cant work this out.

    Cmason:

Where did you get a printer for price like that?
    Thankyou
