Hello All,

Saturday was very cold in New York.

We visited a Greenhouse and took some pics.

All hand-held as tripods are not allowed on weekends:

Those are very good, Nicholas! Good idea on a cold day.

I am getting concerned, I love it when it is hot outside, but I really dislike cold. And the beach is windy and cold. There will be some glorious sunsets.........sometime. But I cannot imagine being there for them.

Right now I am letting my dog's leg heal, and I don't have a strong desire to go to the beach by myself. I have to shoot a baptism this morning. (Funny?? Doubt it).

All cold weather shooting tips I need relate to me. We don't get snow. Just cold with maybe rain. A damp cold.

So a kick in the pants would be good for me. Something to get me out there on a nice day. Or a bad day, too.

I really like the flowers! Very nice!

    Hello Ginger, Andy & All,

I hope your dog heals real fast Ginger.

    Good luck with the Baptism.

Thanks for the Winter Shooting Tips Andy. Yes, that second battery should be as close to the body as possible.

Glad you liked the flower images. Several of the shots would not have been possible without the Twist and Macro of my F-828. I prefer to use a tripod but couldn't on the weekends.

    Regards, Nicholas
