Now the rest of the story,
    one am April 15, 2005

I just got home from work sat down at my computer on the 3d floor of my house when 3 large explosions rocked my house. I ran down the stairs to the 2nd floor looked out the window and saw a ball of flame shoot out of the house next door (about 5 feet next door!) so I ran down the back stairs an grabbed my trusty Kiddie fire extinguisher and rushed over to the next door neighbor’s burning house. When I got there I realized that the Kiddie was not going to do anything but I fired it off any way. The fire had quite a chuckle over that one.!
Well as the hours went by the 2 houses to the left of me burned pretty much burned completely. The Salem, Ma. Fire Dept. saved my house by completely covering it with a wall of water. The neighbors lost every thing but nobody was hurt and the damage was covered by Insurance.
More pictures of the fire can be seen at my smug mug site.

The pictures are of quite poor quality. It's amazing how bad you can be at taking pictures when you think your home is about to go up in flames! That’s about it, all the houses have been rebuilt and moved into.
Thanks again to the Salem Ma Fire Department

My house is the green one on the left some parts are only 3 feet away from the burned house

Wowwwww again....... now that is a Story nod.gif ..... I am so glad to hear that nobody got injured, what a shock that must have been to wake up to eek7.gif :uhoh eek7.gif .....and yet you still took pictures rolleyes1.gif

Makes you think twice about having a fire plan...... and how important it is that not only the adults know this plan, but your CHILDREN TOO.

Thank you for sharing your story and pictures on this unfortunate event, glad everything worked out okay for everyone concerned :D
