Taken at the Featherdale Wildlife Park outside Syndey. We were allowed to pet the koala on the back. Apparently, they become very defensive if you touch their face. Their fur is one of the softest things I have ever felt.

Nicely exposed ireno. We have a lot of them around here but they are very very hard to spot being so high in the trees & also they are often not as big as many expect. I usually look for the type of trees they prefer & then look for fresh claw marks at the base to see if they have been frequenting that tree.

Such a qute little sound they make eek7.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Glad you guys liked it. We actually saw some on the Great Ocean Road. They were high in the trees, but there was one that was really big. It seemed significantly bigger than any we saw in captivity. Anyways, glad you liked it.
