These are fabulous shots. I love the ones where the rider is (mostly) in focus and the background is blurred. However, the photo that keeps drawing me back is the one where Racer #6 is blurred and only the two blue railings behind him seem to be in focus. It conveys so wonderful energy and movement. You have a wonderful set to choose from. Good luck.

    Virginia

P.S. Love the non-blurred ones too.

Really great shots, I think 1, 3, 6,7 are the best.

The first posted shot drew my attention. The in-focus and non-blurred face and front of the helmet is the best part of the shot, which in turn makes the rest of the pic even more blurred by comparison. Excellent!

By the way, what velodrome were these taken at?

Alpenrose Dairy in Portland Oregon. The Velodrome was originally constructed for the 1962 World Championships.

For me...Photo 6 of rider 6...love the two blue bars...the yellow just bounces...all I would do is burn ever so slightly the 4 corners to intensify the viewing space and just up the contrast a touch..super shots!
