This Black-crowned Night Heron was taken yesterday at the Audubon Swamp Garden which is a part of Magnolia Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina. This little fellow was kind enough to sit on a cypress knee close to the shore and let me get up close. Still it was taken at 400mm in this full-frame shot with no cropping.

Trying out the new Canon 5D.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
