Wanna-be Eagle

This Great Egret must think that he is an Eagle. Actually, it's in a rookery and there are hundreds of them in the trees. There were also some young but they were in the nest where you could see them moving, but too many limbs and too much moss in the way to get a shot. This was taken at the Audubon Swamp Gardens which is a part of Magnolia Gardens in Charleston, SC. The lens used was a Canon 100-400 at 400mm with a 2X TC and manual focus. Full-frame with no cropping.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you, Harry. BTW, I'm headed down to the Everglades the start of week after next (Jul 23 or 24). Then I will be shooting lighthouses up the gulf coast of Florida on the way home.
