Mating Damselflies

I've been having problems shooting damselflies -their bodies are very reflective! So I cut up a Lumiquest mini softbox into strips and put them over the flash head of my MT-24 macro flash. Then I set the flash exposure compensation to -2 2/3 and set the ratio to 8:1 so the "A" flash (the one on top) was 8 times brighter than the "B" flash (the one that's toward the bottom). Here are the results -minimal post processing and no cropping.

This is not a crop -I just moved in closer.

C&C always welcome :):

For the curious: The male is to the left. He deposits sperm in a gland on his chest (his genitalia are in his tail). He then finds a female and then grabs her by the back of the head. In mid air she can curl her tail around so her genitalia are receiving sperm for his gland. They can fly while mating, and he's strong enough to carry her even if she doesn't assist (she can use her wings to help him fly).
