A portrait of Jess and Rob. Jess is my hubby her niece, Rob is her BF.
They posed for me last year when we were on homeleave in Phoenix.
Comments welcome... Suggestions on how to get a better photograph. I added the noise in photoshop.
There are some more portraits of them on my homepage, under portraits.

I am wondering if I like it more with noise then without. I have both copies in my book for them.
I will upload the original color in a minute. I am not sure about the background. Wanted to blur the background but ran out of patience to do a nice selection... So I really used the noise to hide the bad selection.ne_nau.gif

I like it a whole lot in blk and white and in color, but without the noise. I think the background is fine.

^^^I agree with Ginger. The noise throws me off. My favorite is the B&W original. This is a superb portrait btw.

Thanks Ginger and Perez... what to do about the background?
Leave it as it is or blur it and do a better selection?
    Thanks for the comments. :D

I didn't even realize you blurred it! eek7.gif I must have subconsciously chosen the blurred B&W. Anyways, I would say blur away. You don't want a wall to pull focus away from such a great moment.

I like the two B&W's. The induced noise helps to hide the blurred parts of the
hair (which would be more toward the back of the head).

The tight crop is nice too.
