problems buying pictures

I (or rather a customer of mine) is having some weird problems buying pictures.

They go through the process of buying the picture, but then then when they get to their shopping cart, it says their shopping cart is empty.

This appears to be happening on ALL of my galleries, but here are a couple of galleries that my customer has confirmed that they are having the problem with...

Now here is the really weird part...I can NOT reproduce this behavior on my PC with IE, logged in or loggrd out. Everything works fine for me. However I have had 2 different people one on a Mac and one on a PC confirm that they are having this same problem. The person who confirmed this for me with the Mac, said that they had no problems when buying pics using Safari, it is only when using IE.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the trouble, we'll try and replicate.

Customer must have javascript enabled, as well as cookies. If they were using IE5 on a Mac, we don't support that and haven't for over a year:

Thanks for the super quick reply Andy. :D

I will try and and find out if my customer is using IE 5, and I probably should make it pretty clear on my site that if you are using a Mac, then you need to be using Safari or Firefox.

And on a side note...Andy, with how quickly you reply to peoples smugmug troubles, how do you ever have the time to go out and take pictures yourself?

So I just checked my Statcounter account, and checked out what browsers were recently used on my site, and there it was, someone using IE 5.23.

That was probably the problem with IE on the PC.

So the next question, anyone know of a good way to do browser sniffing on you smugmug site so that you can alert your customers to the fact that they are using an unsupported browser.

    All my fault...
And just to let you completely not have to worry about my problem anymore. It turns out this was a user error on my part...

I had turned on printing, but before I had actually priced the photos the customer hand gone in to buy the pictures. Oops.

The other person with IE 5.23 was the one using the unsupported combination of a Mac + IE.

    Thanks for your time Andy!

    It's my pleasure :D

To answer your other question - I shoot nearly every day. I'm always doing events, portraits, and more. I could use a few more hours in the day, though :uhoh
