Which sunset?

This is the same shot, first unedited, and the second with auto color and contrast in ACDsee Pro.

Which is better? I prefer the edited, but my wife prefers the unedited.

unedited ...the sun doesn't look as blown out, but i dont' like the color on the upper half.

edited...the sun is blended into the sky...but the clouds look cool with better color on the upper half.

maybe overlay the two on each other and do some selective erasing...??? or a gradient mask at the top.

either way. I like both. the sea gulls really make this shot

i vote edited, just because it makes the detail on the water stand out and the upper portion's colors are more pleasing.
