    very nice!
I like #1 with the dappled sunlight. I'd love to visit the PNW some and soak in some of the beautiful falls and scenery. Hope you will post more shots from that area.

I very rarely ever use an ND filter, but prefer a polarizer and shoot for a 1/4 - 1/2 second range for shutter speed. I will add an ND on top of that if conditions are too bright. I've been shooting RAW lately, but still need practice on combining images processed for different exposures.

Thanks for the plug Andy. Sorry I haven't had time to contribute lately - been busy with working a 12hr swing shift job and would rather be out shooting in my spare time.

Rich thanks for you comments and I like the photos in you gallery I would like to go see some of those falls my self some day especially this one http://www.pbase.com/waterfallrich/image/31493208 its amazing. I like to use a polarizer from time to time also to get the effects I want. I don’t combine images processed for different exposures I prefer to do it in one shot. As you probably know one of the problems with waterfalls is blowing out trees and stuff around them that’s part of the reason I use the ND filters in those cases I underexpose the shot then push it when I process it so I can keep the details.
